eScrip is a fantastic resource for fundraising where participating businesses contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to Graystone H&SC. The eScrip program is a hassle-free way for schools to raise funds through everyday purchases at local merchants. Merchants such as Safeway, Macy’s, and Office Max, will contribute 4-6% of the purchases you make back to the Graystone Home & School Club when you sign-up. Your friends, relatives, and co-workers can also enroll to help earn valuable money for our school.  It is perhaps the easiest way to support the H&SC, requiring only that you register with ESCRIP at www.escrip.com.  

Here's How it Works

• You register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program (Registering your Safeway card is a major contribution to our program)
• Participating merchants will make contributions to Graystone H&SC based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered.

HOW DO YOU SIGN UP?

• Sign-up online. It’s quick and easy.
  1. Go to www.escrip.com;
  2. Click on “sign-up;”
  3. Follow the instructions, using:
     Group Name Graystone Home & School Club
     Group ID 139430652

YOU NEED TO REREGISTER YOUR SAFEWAY CARD EACH YEAR

• If you participated in the eScrip program last year, you are required to renew your commitment to the program to continue receiving Safeway contributions. To renew your Safeway card, there are two ways to renew:
  1. Call (800) 254-5404;
  2. Visit www.escrip.com and click on "YES! Renew" Have your Safeway card handy to enter the card number. Note, if you don't remember your Safeway Club Card number, you can call 877—SAFEWAY.

Cash Cards (Gift Cards)

Everybody buys gift cards to give as gifts.  We all like to get gift cards to use.  Purchase your gift cards from the Graystone H&SC.  We can make your gift card shopping a one stop shopping experience without having to run to various stores; and at the same time businesses will be giving a percentage of the gift card's value to the Graystone H&SC.  

We keep in stock gift cards from over 50 local and internet businesses and can special order hundreds more.  The Graystone H&SC earns between 1% and 15% of the face value from each gift card you purchase.  Before you go gift card shopping at the store, come check us out and see if we have or can get what you need.

BUY A GIFT CARD EACH MONTH FOR YOU TO USE

We strongly encourage every Graystone family to purchase just one gift card each month. If every family at Graystone averaged purchasing just $100 in gift cards each month the H&SC would make ~$30,000 each year.  Get gift cards for gifts or rather than using your credit card or debit card at Safeway, use a gift card purchased through our Cash Card Program.  Don't pay the $0.45 debit card transaction fee at ARCO, use an ARCO gift card purchaed through the H&SC -- you save $0.45 per fill-up and Graystone gets 1-2%.  You don't need to spend more, just spend differently and support Graystone.

WE WANT TO MAKE IT EASY FOR YOU

• Gift cards are sold in the Graystone SuperDome every Monday and Friday at drop-off and pick-up.
• Order forms are available on our website, in the office, and will also come home periodically in your Friday folder.  Order forms may be submitted to the office, the cash card table, or via email to ginafreitag@comcast.net.  You can pick it up in the office, at the cash card table in the SuperDome, or have it sent home with your child (payment must be received before sending it home with students).
• RECURRING ORDERS -- You can set up a recurring order.  Each month you will receive an invoice.  Check it over, add or subtract what you want, and confirm.  Your order will be ready for you each month.

Diner's Nights

Diner's Nights are a great way for you to have dinner out with your family and make money for Graystone at the same time.  Approximately once a month Graystone H&SC partners with a local restaurant and puts on a Diner's Night.  We bring in the customers and the restaurant donates a percentage of Graystone Family bills back to the H&SC.  It's that easy.

About a week before a Diner's Night a flyer will go home in the weekly white envelopes.  Just bring the flyer with you when you go out to eat on the specified date and Graystone will receive between 15% and 25% of your bill. 

Don't forget to stop by the Cash Card/Gift Card table on Monday or Friday and pick up some cash cards to pay the bill.

Box Tops for Education

Box Tops for Education is another way for you to help Graystone.  It's easy and doesn't require you to spend any more money or buy anything that you don't already buy.  We use the proceeds from our Box Tops program to help buy playground equipment for recess.

We all shop for groceries, usually numerous times a week. Now turn those shopping trip into easy cash for Graystone, and encourage friends (Grandparents love to help their grandkids) to do the same! Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios^®, Hamburger Helper^® and Kleenex^®, in almost every aisle of the store. All you need to do is clip and send them to your school’s Box Tops coordinator —- each one is worth 10¢ for your school.  It doesn't sound like much, but with every Graystone family turning in box tops, it could amount to thousands of dollars that go directly to our children's education —- all for FREE!

Just look for the Box Tops for Education logo on everything you buy, cut them off the box, and collect them.  Drop them off anytime in the Box Tops box in the office at Graystone.  Every little bit makes a huge difference in our children's education.

Target REDcard Holders Enroll Now

You shop at Target, your favorite school -- GRAYSTONE -- benefits.  It's that simple.  And your REDcard makes it possible.  If you have a Target REDcard (Target credit card or debit card) just go online and enroll in the program.  Choose GRAYSTONE school and you're done.  Target will donate up to 1% of your REDcard purchases at both Target and Target.com to Graystone H&SC.  

LUCKY S.H.A.R.E.S. CARD

If you shop at Lucky, shop with a Graystone Lucky S.H.A.R.E.S. card (pick one up at the Cash Card table -- IT'S FREE).  It looks like a store rewards card, but is tied to Graystone H&SC.  Each swipe of your S.H.A.R.E.S. card earns up to 3% of qualified purchases.

America's Best Karate

ABK is a long time sponsor of the Graystone Home & School Club, offering students discounted class prices and donating to our school.  2011 marks the 10th anniversary of ABK's relationsip with and support of our students.  Over the past decade, ABK has donated and raised over $10K in support of the Graystone H&SC.

ABK is pleased to announce continued support of the Graystone H&SC with discounted martial arts training for all interested Graystone Elementary studens and families. ABK donates the proceeds for 10 classes and a uniform to the Home & School Club.  If interested, you purchase classes from the school with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Home & School Club.

Classes will be held at America's Best Karate of Almaden, which is located at 5940 Almaden Expressway. To enroll, just follow these easy steps:

1. Write a check payable to Graystone Home and School Club for the registration amount.
2. Download, print, and fill out the registration form.
3. Return the membership form and the check to the Graystone School office.

Almaden Pilates

Almaden Pilates and the Graystone H&SC are pleased to announce discounted Pilates training for all interested Graystone Elementary Parents. Almaden Pilates donates an introductory consultation and 10 mat classes to the school. If interested, you may purchase classes directly from the school with 100% of the proceeds going to the H&SC.

All classes are held in our private studio located in the back of America’s Best Karate (6940 Almaden Expressway).

To enroll, just follow these easy steps:
