Dean Nessen is working on identifying and labeling all items purchased by the Home & School Club. He would like some help with that.

Graystone Grownup Gathering is in need of a chair person for Live Auction as well as volunteers to help organize and plan the event (February 2012).

Several chairs are needed for the Walk-A-Thon (end of school year).

Also needed for this year: persons for Lost and Found, and 50-in-a-minute (making copies of the math sheets for the teachers). For next year: Movie Night, and H&SC Promotion Movie Maker.

School supplies
Katherine Cance explained the history behind ordering school supplies for the lower grades, detailing advantages and disadvantages. After a lively debate Carolyn Amey and Sandi Geringer agreed to be on a committee to investigate further options. Anyone interested in being on that committee, please email me (anne-marie@zeropage.com) and I will put you in touch with them.
Home & School Club membership drive: GOAL= $128,650
As of Sept. 8 we have raised $96,754 with 77.5% of students having joined the HSC.
Three classes have already reached 100%: Mr.s McCullough(4/5), Mrs. Marino (2nd), and Mrs. Fleischer (2/3). Congratulations!
The deadline to reach the 100% goal for the teachers to receive their bonus money is Thursday September 15th by 3 pm. If you have not sent in your form and donation, please do so a.s.a.p.!

Thank you to Katherine Cance for organizing the school supplies, Paige Brown for making the great movie to promote the H&SC (which was shown on Back to School Night), Kimberly Allen and Kristina Bowler for being the Kinder Ambassadors over the summer, and to Denise and Mike Salisbury for making a beautiful new website for the Home & School Club.
