Library/Media Center News

  • Melissa announces a book swap for January and the Amazing Bubble Man for February.

And finally a reminder... the Adopt a Family Program is ending soon!!!
Imagine looking into your child's eyes and wishing you could provide a pair of shoes without holes or a pair of jeans that fit, or maybe a warm jacket to wear to school in the morning. Those are a few of the items our adopt a family individuals are asking for this holiday season and still remain hanging on some classroom giving tree's. If you have not yet participated in the adopt a family program, please think about stopping by and taking a post it note wish or tell your child to take a note for you. If your classroom's giving tree is empty, you may take a post it note from any other classroom and still return it to your child's classroom donation box as long as it still has the post it note attached.  You may even take a post it note and attach it to a gift card so it can be used for that purpose. All wrapped gifts need to be returned by
Monday, December 12th. If you plan on making a cash donation, you may write a check to Graystone H&SC and we will use the money to purchase scrip grocery cards for the families. Please turn in all cash donations to your teacher by Friday, December 9th.  If you have any questions about any of the wishes that remain, please contact either Sheri Meeks sean.sheri.meeks@gmail.com or Amber Marienthal amarienthal@msn.com. We cannot thank you enough for supporting this program and making the holidays special for these families.
